A British man who filmed pigs eating the bodies of Ukrainian soldiers is facing a potential war crimes trial.

Graham Phillips,46,is being investigated by the Metropolitan Police’s War Crimes Team over breaches of the Geneva Convention.

The Brit, born in Dundee,Scotland, but brought up in Nottinghamshire, will become the first Brit to face a war crimes trial since the beginning of the Russian invasion in 2022.

Phillips posted a video online in 2022 of pigs eating human remains,as he asked the animals ‘Is Yuri tasty?’

He went on to encourage the animals, saying: ‘Eat,be healthy. It turns out he (the Ukrainian) was useful for someone.’

The footage has faced international scrutiny,as it seems in violation of the Geneva Convention and the Red Cross, which states that all parties in a conflict must take all possible measures to prevent the dead from being despoiled.

Article 34 of the Geneva Convention also states: ‘The remains of persons who have died for reasons related to occupation or in detention resulting from occupation or hostilities . . . shall be respected.’

Phillips admitted to filming the clip, telling The Sun he didn’t understand why he should have intervened with the pigs eating human remains.

‘Those Ukrainian soldiers came to Donbas to murder the civilians of Donbas, who want to be with Russia, not part of the Ukrainian Nazi regime. They ended up becoming pig fodder,’ he claimed.

‘I could say it was pigs eating pigs, but that would be an insult to the pigs.’

The war in Ukraine began when Russia illegally invaded in February 2022. Thousands of civilians have been killed by Putin’s war machine in the years since.

Phillips was also seen mistreating British PoW Aiden Aslin (Picture: Graham Phillips)

Phillips isn’t the only British national fighting on the side of the aggressor. Aiden Minnis, from Wiltshire, has been dubbed a traitor after burning his UK passport.

The ‘wannabe warrior’ previously bragged about being awarded a ‘Russian passport’ – which is actually just a Russian citizenship ID – along with a ‘bravery medal’ from Putin.

Minnis has previously promised to keep putting Ukrainians and English mercenaries fighting for Ukraine ‘in wooden boxes’.

Former drug addict Minnis travelled to Ukraine last year and calls himself both a ‘Z Patriot’ and a ‘sapper in the Russian army’.

He went as far as claiming that ‘Putin is the greatest politician on earth’.

If he ever returns to Britain, which he brands a ‘fascist state’,he would face terror offences for his mercenary status.

He has already spent time in Britain for a violent racist attack.
